What Is the Best Way to Attach a Roof to an ICF Wall for Wind Resistance?
For resistance to high winds it is recommended to use hurricane tie downs that are embedded into the concrete in your roof connection detail.
The 2×6 sill plate for the roof system will be embedded, to the concrete core of the wall with anchor bolts, as per specs. See attached detail. This is typical everyday practice.

For additional wind resistance, hurricane tie downs that are also directly embedded into the concrete core of the Logix ICF walls (pictured) can also be used.
Always confirm your roofing connections with a qualified design professional.
